Sebangsa and Komunita ID Launch App to Grow Community Connections
Indonesian-made social media communities Sebangsa and Komunita ID, representing a cross section of the country, hosted an open discussion on social movements in the digital era this week.
During the event, Sebangsa launched its app designed to facilitate connections and communications between community leaders across the country.
“Sebangsa has been collaborating with various communities and hosting activities such as community training, art performances, exhibitions and talk shows,” Indira Widjonarko, Sebangsa and Komunita ID founder and
chairwoman said in Jakarta on Thursday (11/08).
According to Indira, Komunita ID was made to be a means of communication across communities.
“The emergence of community and society movement in Indonesia is because people no longer have to depend on the government to resolve the problems that exist. As long we had a common vision and mission, assisted by digital devices, then we can help solve the existing problems,” Komunita ID founder, Enda, added.
