SPAR Croatia opened its new logistics center located in the municipality of Klinča Sela near Zagreb. Spanning 75,000m2, the new facility marks a major advancement in supplying 140 SPAR and INTERSPAR stores across 55 cities across the country.
As one of the largest of its kind in this region of Europe, this logistics center was completed in twenty months. The project represents an investment exceeding €110 million, significantly enhancing the company’s operational efficiency.
It has a storage capacity of over 100,000 pallets and is equipped with more than 170 loading ramps, wth a total workforce of 500 team members.
This represents a strategically important project for SPAR Croatia, as one of the largest projects in Zagreb County and the municipality of Klinča Sela. In addition, this investment is crucial to maintain retail growth, as SPAR Croatia’s retail sales in 2023 grew by 20% to exceed €1 billion.
